Introducing  Coach Steve & Coach Gena

Steve and Gena Burgess have been playing pickleball for over 13 years, and have been an active part in growing the sport in

Evansville & the Tri-State area.

Their goal is to promote and grow the sport of pickleball by introducing, teaching, and supporting new and existing pickleball friends! 

Gena owns her own pickleball goods  & courts surfacing company , as well as an USA Pickleball Ambassador.

Steve  is a sponsored player by Engage Pickleball. 

The Burgess'  have been coaching pickleball for over 10 years. They are PPR Pro Coach certified.  Just recently , Gena & Steve  have finished their 4th certification for IFP (International Federation of Pickleball) Which means they can now train people how to coach pickleball statewide & internationally & are fully insured. Steve & Gena both are FBI background checked, and certified to teach youth, as well as fully CPR/ First aid Trained.

Summer of 2021 Steve & Gena have taught over 200 private lessons on their own private court.

Over the winter of 2021-23 They have coached 30+ kids every Wednesday for Ymca / after school program.

Steve and Gena are both US OPEN silver medalists 2023.
